About Us

Brian Gillenwater is a Computer Engineer from Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He is a member of HKN and the Iowa State IEEE group. Previous work experience includes work at the Boeing Company where he worked on Identity and Access Management and Glenbard Township School District where he worked in the IT Department deploying iPads and configuring network equipment.

Nathan Kent is currently a senior at Iowa State University and a member of IEEE-HKN. He has worked at a wide variety of companies, including EnSoft Corporation and Microsoft, doing tasks ranging from embedded development to "Big Data" analysis. He seeks to continue his education as a graduate student in Fall 2016.

Quinn Murphy is a Computer Engineer from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is currently serving as the IEEE President and the Eta Kappa Nu Secretary. His previous work experience includes Garmin where he worked on aviation systems and National Instruments where he wrote drivers for signal analyzers.

Bryce is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is senior in Computer Engineering with a minor Biomedical Engineering. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi and is also the shop foreman for ISU Theatre. His previous work experience includes both software engineering and FPGA development internships. After graduation Bryce will be working at Rockwell Collins as an FPGA designer.

Jonathan is a senior in Computer Engineering. He is a research assistant at the Virtual Reality Applications Center at Iowa State, and enjoys working with virtual and augmented reality technologies. His primary areas of expertise are in game development and GUI programming.
